Our first 2015 Tech Updates was a success!

We put on our first 2015 Tech Updates on Monday and Tuesday this week at Corporate Environments. Engineer Dalaina Glenn gave a great presentation about Windows 10 updates, Outlook updates, the Microsoft App Store and more – not to mention she came bearing snacks and drinks!
The Corporate Environment team members at the Tech Updates presentation asked great questions and learned some new tools. Overall, we think this was a great way to show a client we appreciate them and make sure they are up to date and educated about new technology.
One aspect of the 2015 Tech Updates that was popular was the addition of Clutter. The CE team learned that once you turn on Clutter in Outlook, it learns your preferences and puts the emails you most likely will not read into the Clutter folder. This allows you to spend less time on email, read the ones you need, and look at the other emails later. One of the features the CE team liked was that you can turn Clutter on and off, so you can go back to getting all of your emails in your inbox.
Another two Tech Updates topics were snapping and multiple desktops. The CE team heard a brief overview of snapping windows and saw a demonstration from Dalaina. Snapping allows you to view two windows side by side in equal size. Another great multitasking tool is the multiple desktop features. The team learned they can have multiple desktops open and organize their open windows that way. This allows them to keep everything organized. As a company that usually has many things going on at once with their clients, multitasking features are always great to learn about.

Overall, our first 2015 Tech Updates was a success. We are always glad to show our appreciation by keeping one of our clients updated on new technology and features. For more information about our Tech Updates session or other IT needs, contact us today at 678-534-8776
