A yearly review of yourself – and your company – is an important tool
This year is coming to a close and the new year is starting soon, so a yearly review is in order. It is good to look back the past 365 days and reflect on what occurred. This is a great way to grow as a person, as well as a small business. In your personal life you can use a yearly review to see if you accomplished your New Year’s resolutions (if you’re like us there may be one or two that slipped into the background as the year went on). You can also take stock of the good parts and the bad parts, and see what each experience taught you. A yearly review can also be a simple way to take some time to remember all of the cool things you did this year.
On a professional level it is important to review your year, especially if you are a small business. There is always a mistake or two when you’re looking in the rearview mirror. That also means there is room to grow and become better in the new year. Did you add new clients this year? Did you learn what organization tactics work well? Did you learn some hard lessons that ended up being great learning experiences? No matter what happened this year you can move forward and get even better.
As for our yearly review, it’s been a great year for trueITpros. We added some new members to our team, gained new clients, (even 2 in Italy!), and shared some great information with you, our readers. There have been mistakes made and lessons learned, but at the end of the day we grew as a company and member of our community.
What is in your yearly review? Share it with us and let us know how we can be a part of your new year!
