“Let Nothing You Dismay” is opening today, and is written by our own, Topher Payne.

We hate to brag, but…we will anyway. The Great Playwright of trueITpros has done it again. Topher Payne, has written another play that begins showing today. The play is called “Let Nothing You Dismay” and is showing at Stage Door Players Dec. 4 through Dec. 20. Supporting our own is something we love to do here at TITP, and we can’t wait to see Topher’s latest work about family and the ties that bind us. Keep on reading for a snippet about the play, and for information about where to catch this great show. Check out this interview with Wussy Online Magazine to get the down low from Topher himself.
“Let Nothing You Dismay” is about two characters, Kevin and Allie, who are soon-to-be parents. They have asked their families to keep their distance for the holidays until they can bring the baby home and settle in. True to real life situations, the families show up anyone and bring a cast of characters. In addition to Kevin’s father, his wife and some of Allie’s family, the crew includes Kevin’s mother and her favorite author, Allie’s Bubbie and her gentleman friend. The cast is made up of eight actors who play a total of 22 characters. “Let Nothing You Dismay” promises to be a great time and a show that celebrates families of all kinds.
We are extremely proud of Topher for continuing to pursue writing and directing, and are equally proud to have someone so creative as a part of our team. Way to go, Topher!
The play will be showing through Dec. 20, and is based in Dunwoody. For more information about the “Let Nothing You Dismay, visit stagedoorplayers.net or call 770-396-1726.
