We are a buying force attracted to bells and whistles, but when it comes to technology we still want to know that we are getting the best product on the market. The Microsoft Surface tablet has features unlike other tablets. It comes in two models, one that works on a Windows 8 operating system and the other on Windows RT. You can create and work in Microsoft Office applications and surf the web much faster as well as discover new music, movies and games. If you have an existing online account with Microsoft, the Surface can act as an extension of your TV, allowing you to go from your screen to the big screen.

The screen is larger at 10.6” and it has a clear type full HD display. The Surface comes with a case and stand so you don’t have to purchase accessories separately. There is a difference between the two models, such as weight and connectivity. The Windows 8 model has a touch cover, pen and palm book, but the Windows RT model comes with Office 15 apps. The configurable space on the RT model is less as it comes in 32GB and 64GB; the 8 model comes in 64GB and 128GB. Unlike other tablets such as the iPad, the Surface is also more compatible to other computing system.
In order to promote and sell the new Surface tablet, Microsoft has opened new stores and will open more throughout the year. Is the Surface worthy of you standing in line all night to get your very own?
